Extensive Experience in Construction Layout

Bryan Hill PLS, president of Accurate Land Surveys, Inc. has extensive experience in construction layout. Bryan has been the project surveyor for a wide variety of construction projects from small residential services to very large multi-faceted projects. Furthermore he has served as an in house surveyor for a large construction company, Teichert construction of Sacramento California, a company of over 400 employees and a half a billion dollars in annual work, for a period over two years. He then decided to move back to the Portland area, back to his roots and family to continue pursuing a family business and tradition.

Small Projects include sidewalks, small streets, water lines, ditches etc...

Large Construction Projects include hospitals, landfills, a high rise in Sacramento and a high rise in Los Angles, bridges, Sacramento airport (laying out new runways), Oroville airport (runways and taxiways and commercial area) dam monitoring and a wide variety of other projects. Some of these projects included slope staking with variable slopes for cuts and fill for up to 200 feet.

Not only do we have experience in construction layout but the experience to catch and present issues that assist engineers and job superintendents that enable them to make informed decisions and deliver their product on time.

Hill also has extensive experience in producing quantities and the documentation of each progressive layer and then providing reports for comparison between each progressive layer. Whether it is the use of Open end volume calculations to software utilizing digital terrain models we have the experience to assist our clients in these needs.
